Co-payment
This does not apply if the insured is 60 years of age or below. However, this condition will not be applicable if you were aged 45 years or below at the time of buying this policy for the first time and have renewed it continuously after that.
Waiting Periods
Initial Waiting Period: A 30-day waiting period applies from the policy's inception, during which claims are not admissible, except for those arising from accidents.
Pre-existing Disease Waiting Period: For the Silver plan, pre-existing diseases are covered after 48 months of continuous coverage. For Gold and Platinum plans, this period is reduced to 24 months.
Specific Disease/Procedure Waiting Period: For individuals above 45 years of age, certain listed illnesses and procedures are covered after a 24-month.

Exclusions
Pre-existing diseases are subject to a 24-month waiting period.

Autoimmune disorders are excluded.
Behavioral, neurodevelopmental, and neurodegenerative disorders are not covered.
Exclusions
Hospital Cash - Receive a fixed daily cash benefit during hospitalization to cover incidental expenses. For the Gold plan, this amount is Rs. 3,000 per day.
Personal Accident Cover - Provides a lump sum payment in case of accidental death or permanent total disability. The coverage amount is up to 5 times the base sum insured, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50 lakh.
Critical Illness Cover - Offers a lump sum benefit upon diagnosis of specified critical illnesses such as cancer, heart attack, or stroke. The coverage amount is equal to the base sum insured, up to a maximum of Rs. 10 lakh.
E-Consultation - Allows unlimited telephonic or online consultations with medical practitioners, providing convenient access to medical advice.
Premium Waiver - Waives the premium for one policy year if the policyholder (who is also an insured person) passes away or is diagnosed with a specified illness during the policy period. This benefit is available once during the lifetime of the policy.
