              WOMEN

              If you are a woman

              1. There will be a 3-year age setback over males’ rates for female lives for all premium payment terms except Pay till 60. Where the corresponding rate is not available, the lowest available premium rate for male will be used.

              CIGARETTE

              If you smoke

              1. Lower premium rates for nonsmokers however, the Accident cover and Accelerated CI benefit premium rates do not vary by smoker status. 

              Note :

              1. Suicide Clause : If suicide occurs within 12 months of policy start or revival, Smart Secure Plus refunds premiums paid, excluding taxes. For sum assured top-ups, only additional premiums are refunded, not the increased coverage amount.

              2. Free look up period: The Max Life Smart Secure Plus Plan offers a free look period of 15 days from the date of receiving the policy document, allowing policyholders to review the terms and conditions. If the policy was sourced through distance marketing modes, this period extends to 30 days. 

              3. Grace Period: The plan offers a grace period of 30 days for premium payments, except for monthly mode, which has a 15-day grace period. During this time, coverage continues, but if the policyholder passes away, unpaid premiums are deducted from the benefits.
